The fundamental rules of Stud Poker games are that every player has a definite number of cards face-down and a definite number face-up. The face-down cards (or "cards in the hole") are cards that simply every player can observe. The face-up cards, though, are the ones that all players at the table can notice in every other player's hand. In typical seven-card stud, every player by the finish of the game has three cards face-down that no one can notice, and four cards face-up that the entire table to notice. In typical five-card stud, every player has one card face-down and four cards face-up by the finish of the game. Typical Stud Stud poker games are usually played with moreover five or seven cards. In typical Seven Card Stud, as stated over, the cards in every player's hand finish up being two face-down, four face-up, and one face-down. In typical Five Card Stud, the cards in every player's hand finish up being one face-down, and four face-up. Certainly, variations are countless. Wild Cards It is uncommon that the dealer calls a wild card flat-out. "Kings are wild", for instance, would indicate that if a player is dealt a King face-up, everyone can observe it and be discouraged by it. |
